I use google calendar to set event remainders, and manage meetings with my team. It helps the whole team in time management. Everyone works in coordination with his/her teammates by checking their calendar slots. It also helps us in keeping the track of upcoming events which we short-list and prepare accordingly for the event. we in our company, also use it for booking appointment slots with our team leads or team managers. Google calendar tells us the status of our co-workers whether he is online or offline.
  • Sets event remainders
  • Blocks slots for appointments
  • Upcoming Event details
  • Set team meetings
  • Checking on coworkers status
  • the user interface should be improved for better experience.
  • Needs more app integration for example adding notes to calendar events.
  • I would also love to see an integration with google maps, where I can share locations from maps to events directly on calendar.
Google calendar is best suited for professional use, because right from my start, since i joined the company, the whole process of recruiting, joining and working for the company involved the use of google calendar. I was contacted via Gmail, and an meeting was set on a particular date using google calendar, which notified on that particular day, and i joined the meeting through a link in calendar events. Since that day i have been using Google calendar in a professional way, meeting clients, team mates, managers and co-workers by checking their slots and blocking it to let them know. So, i think Google calendar is good for professional use where the number of people are more, and time management is necessary.

Booking appointments, tasks, and reminders is a breeze, thanks to Google Calendar. Other members of the company can see this information as well. Because many businesses rely on Google Calendar, adding new work to my calendar is a cinch. We can't live without Google Calendar, and it makes our life a lot easier. We arrange estimates every day, so having all of the information we need in one place is critical. You may easily add information like reminders, locations, and more.
  • Connectivity to other programs and systems.
  • It's simple to coordinate and communicate with your team.
  • Compatibility with other software.
  • Using the iOS app, it's tough to upload photos or other data.
  • Editing The iOS app does not have special features such as bold.
  • Customization options and more themes.
For a reminder app, it's perfect. It's what we utilize to schedule appointments with our customers. It's a way for us to share information about an event with our employees. Appointments may be added quickly and easily. Reminders sent to us via apps and websites are accurate and exactly what we expected them to be. I don't like how cumbersome it is to add files using the iOS app.

We use Google Calendar to manage and share our schedules across teams. The main business problem, in this case, is to know people's availability when you want to set up a meeting with them. Before using Google Calendar we used to ask people for their availability by email, which was extremely tedious, especially when trying to arrange meetings with many people across several teams. Being able to view everybody's availability on a single WEB page was kind of a revolution and made scheduling meetings way easier than before.
  • Share people's schedules across the organisation.
  • Setup meetings with multiple people almost instantly.
  • Integration with Google video conference (Google Meet).
  • Very simple and intuitive UI.
  • The WEB site UI is great, but the smartphone app has limited functionalities (very limited UI).
  • Does not interoperate well with non-google solutions (difficult to set up meetings with people using Microsoft Outlook).
  • Sometimes slow to load the Web page.
Google Calendar is definitely a great collaboration tool in cases where you have scheduled meetings with many people and do not want to spend hours asking for their availability. With Google Calendar you basically just have to select a spot when everybody can join. I would say Google Calendar is very appropriate when most people you invite to meetings use Google software as well. However, If most of the people you collaborate with use Microsoft 365 then Google Calendar is much less appropriate since it does not interoperate seamlessly with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Google applications (Google Workspace) are generally used in our school. Google Calendar is an app we use as a whole team. We plan our work by using all the features of the calendar. We can follow the work by subscribing to the calendars created by the managers. Especially recently, its efficiency has increased considerably with its new features. When you schedule a meeting, you can create the meeting note directly with Google Docs. After each meeting, participants can track their work through these notes. One plus is that it can work with Google Meet. We can schedule and run our online meetings according to the calendar that created it.
  • Ability to organize online meetings with Google Meet
  • Ability to create meeting notes with Google Docs.
  • Subscribe to other people's calendars
  • If you're using Google Calendar with Google Workspace, you cannot hide users' sharing of Google Calendars by default.
  • Job tracking modules can be integrated to make things better. Google should be able to offer a business management module within the calendar.
  • There is no feature to import events in bulk or delete events in bulk.
First of all, it is important to note that the app is free. This should be taken into account when comparing with other applications. It can be very useful if you use it with Google applications, but if you try to use it alone, it may not meet your expectations.

I use Google Calendar to book appointments, jobs, and reminders. This is viewed by other users in the organization. I love how Google Calendar is used by many other companies so it is easy for us or them to add jobs to my calendar automatically. Google Calendar helps us in our daily lives. We schedule estimates every single day so it is important for us to have the necessary information in one single platform. The ease of adding information such as reminders, locations and etc is quite easy.
  • Integration with other applications.
  • Easy views and use.
  • Add-ons are great!
  • It is difficult to add images or files via the app IOS.
  • Editing Special characteristics such as bold is not available within the IOS app:
  • More themes and customization options.
It is great for a reminder app. We use it to book appointments with our clients. We use it to communicate information within an event with people in our company. Quick and easy appointments to add. App and website notifications to remind us are accurate and just as programmed. I’m not a fan of how difficult it is to add files through the IOS app.

We use Google Calendar as the shared staff calendar to keep tabs on all the things happening in our church - this calendar is then translated over to a website calendar for the congregation. Each of the staff also uses a personal Google Calendar that the others are subscribed to, so we can view everyone's week at a glance.
  • Scheduling
  • Meetings
  • Time management
  • Shared resources
  • iCal feed can be inconsistent.
  • I prefer desktop interface to the App interface.
  • Month view could be more interactive.
Google Calendar is well-suited for helping a team get 'on the same page' for scheduling and time management. It has been very helpful for our small staff team to see each person's week and to see the broader church calendar with all the events listed. We don't take advantage of the invite/schedule feature often enough, but that has also been a great way to make sure scheduled meetings happen on multiple calendars.

Time management for organising appointments and meetings, used concurrently with work and personal calendars and for scheduling Google Meet meetings with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong visual layout
  • Easy to create single and recurring events and meetings
  • Easy to access on all devices
  • Always synced between devices
  • There is no helpful year view
  • The original embed code produces a very old looking calendar
Great for individuals and organisations of all sizes. We use it to create events and meetings with Google Meet.
We constantly have the Google calendar open throughout the day to see what is coming up.
Notifications are very helpful to remind on all devices.
We use it to see all our work and personal events and shared between colleagues so everyone is on the same page.

We use Google Calendar across the whole organisation. It allows us to schedule internal & external meetings at convenient times for those staff members involved & easily make changes to appointments. The description allows us to include important information relevant to each meeting, including zoom links, notes about the clients' expectations of the meeting, agendas, addresses, etc.
  • Syncs with other software
  • App works really well
  • Allows sharing with specific people
  • Unable to edit appointments made though booking software directly in GCal
  • I'd like to have a field for contact number & a way to SMS confirm appointments
  • An option to send reminders to all calendars for appointments
Google Calendar is suitable for any business or individual that needs to remember appointments, hold meetings with other people, etc. There is not a scenario that I could imagine, where it wouldn't be beneficial. Everyone should use Google Calendar to organise their work/life.

I and some users in our organisation are using Google Calendar on my android phone. I like that it is easy to set up. I liked that the calendar showed all the special events the first time I open it. I particularly like the scheduling feature of the application which has great options like adding video conferencing among other things.
  • Easy to use.
  • Better and cleaner look than other calendar apps.
  • Does not have useless features and packs all the needed features in a neat and clean manner.
  • The notification sound option can be added in the app itself instead of going through android settings. And also different sounds for different events, tasks etc. feature can be added.
  • A windows dektop app can be introduced even though it can be integrated with Outlook, windows 10 Calendar app.
Google Calendar is a very reliable calendar application for people for personal use and use in business environment. It has clean look, is easy to use and I found it to be better than Outlook calendar with easier to understand interface and some more features. I also like the option to view the and make changes in the calendar online.
